it has been a very very long time since I've blog. more than half a year i suppose.

This time i am going to talk about my experience in Honda Dreams Fund "Dare to Dream Workshop".

My first day there was superb as I went for registration and mix around with some KL friends cuz i tot the car from Dato Keramat LRT station to the camp site along with the KL people. Then after that i went to see Miss Laura Lee who is one of the advisory panel for a short interview. When she saw my name she was like so you are Dex Mah right. I was like how she know my english name and I went on to ask her. Why izit my name so famous among all of you? and she said we have been talking bout you. That moment indeed I have feeling that I could make it into top30 already.

Day 2 was interesting as we went for Jungle trekking. It was a easy task for me as I have been doing so every year with my BB members. And thank God I was chosen as my team leader and i lead them through the jungle and assistant my members when they needed my help. After Jungle trekking i went back to dorm to have a shower. When I was back from shower, suddenly Mr Ian Tai came in as asked me to follow me. It was raining that time and he took and umbrella and take me to the main hall. Initially i tot i did something wrong. When i ask him, he said nope, just that the press would like to see me. I was like wow I'm going to be interview by The Star. Cant wait to see my article in the newspaper.

During the interview, I keep on relating everything I have learn and give credit to BB because what I am today is because of BB. After the interview, went on for a BBQ dinner. After dinner I rush on to finish a sketch script and lucky enough my time won champion.

Day 3 was interesting yet scary as in the morning we had Laughing Yoga exercise. Damm i laugh a lot. After that we went on for Amazing race. My team was champion again. The momentum was high. Well turn on to lunch i had Indian food on a banana leaf. After lunch was the most dangerous part, the announcement of top30. I wasn't scared at that time I dunno why. Maybe God calmed my heart down knowing i would be selected. And true enough my name was call up for top30.

At night was my turn for interview. I was candidate number 8. I was so hungry that time till I cant think of anything if I am called up for interview. Then i prayed to God saying that let the panel of interviewer say that let me have my dinner first before I move on to interview. true enough I have a prayer answering God. I was schedule to be interview at 8.30pm but I wanted to make a better first impression and I was there waiting for them at 8.00pm. When i was there i sat down and singing praises to God and pray at interval song.

During the interview, they ask me about my dream and also my family background. after that i started to talk about BB again as usual and my interview lasted more than the time allowed.

Day 4 was interesting as i had a Malay style of lunch. took some pictures with friends. But in the morning i have a drum orchestra. It was the best game ever.

Alright from now on I will start to blog about my road of from me having the dream of becoming a pilot and the progress that I am going through now till the very day I got my scholarship to pursue my COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE

Good News and Bad News all one time

Had a good news and bad news today from sir Joel.

Next year BB Pesta will be having in SXI and CLS. isn't it a bad news. hahaha

The good news is that there is the place we have been training our drill team since year 2006. we will have an advantage on drill competition which is a good news.

Haiz having it in SXI will make me die as I am the highest ranking in the school. Surely all the companies ppl will come and approach me for a lot of details about the school. Isnt that wonderfull?

Time to start crying

Another good news is I requested from Sir Joel to change the style of our recruitment video next year. Didnt know he say go ahead as I need to plan a lot.It is not easy. It has always been part of my dream to film a short movie. Finally one of my dream is coming true. Something I can contribute to the company This time I dont wan to be the person running the whole thing. I will make myself as the producer. I planning to train my future Sergant to take up this movie project. Well he is always our IT man. hhahaha

It has been quite long since I have update my blog.

Now just updating about my pilot exam thingy

It has been few months ago since I have sat for my AirAsia Cadet Pilot Programme 1st Stage examination. the papers was very tough.

Until now I still do not know wad's my result. Maybe those guys in the management there are quite busy that's why I was not inform bout my results yet. haiz. but still i am crossing my fingers hoping for the best.

Now I have more headache, I am to plan out how many meetings for the camp that my company will be having, how many drill practices, and also how many singing practices. Very Pening kepala lur, so many things to do in one month time. Have to consider that saints still have not sit for their examination while the other two schools have finish their exam.

Must sit down and really think bout it d.

Plus dunno where to find good drillers to do drill. Mostly all in ICU room want to come and join the Team A.

Earth Shattering Announcement

Finally today the earth shattering announcement that I have been long waiting for from AirAsia has been released. Well they are not going to choose top10 already. Owh so sad. Wait a second, it is a good news thou.

All the shortlisted candidates will go for the exam. Yeah so happy and worry. I hate exams wan. Now must start studying again my physics and maths.

Gonna go sit for the exam on June.

Pray for me then.

My pilot blog competition

Since this is my first blog that I am writing, owh wait 2nd wan as my first wan got me shortlisted for the pilot competition. Owh well then I will just have to start writing about how my pilot competition began.

I won't go from the beginning till the end. I will just start with the day when i receive my call from AirAsia about me getting shortlisted.

On the 16th April, 2008 at 3.45pm to be exact. Got a call from Mr. Derek from AirAsia. Damm it that time should have expected that it was from AirAsia as I saw the caller was a KL number. I was like thinking who could have call me from KL.

Without waiting I pick the phone up and press the Answer button. The caller started asking me

Mr. Derek : May I speak to Dex Mah?

Me : Speaking here.

Mr. Derek : Hi, this is Derek calling from AirAsia.

Me : OMG, is there anything wrong?

Mr. Derek : Owh nothing much, just to inform you that you have been shortlisted for the pilot

blog competition. Congratulation.

Me : Come on dont't lie to me la. (in my mind I was thinking whether izit a prank call

from Hitz.fm you know the are famous for doing so.)

Without further delay I quickly key into blog.airasia.com and my blog appear there.

Mr. Derek : Are you asleep?

Me : No no no, is just that I am speechless now.

Mr. Derek : Well congratulation again.

Me : Thanks Mr. Derek. Bye.

Mr. Derek : Bye. Have a nice day.

This is how the whole conversation took place on that day. After getting that call I started informing everyone I know about me getting shortlisted.

Was really happy that day. Neway I would like to thank a few people for helping me in writing that blog. I would like to thank Mr. Ian Howell for his great help. Without him I would not get shortlisted. not forgetting Daniel Chan and the annoying Catarina Cheah who make the blog more interesting.
