Not my favorite book by this author, but if you're not familiar with her work, try this book and Cinderella Jane. Theme for all her stories seems to be equality and comradeship between romantic/maarried partners with a heavy dose of intellectual respect and fairness deserved by all. Read Cinderella Jane as a young teenager and I'm sure the ideas presented in the book have colored my perspective of how I wanted to live and whom I chose to marry. MBC is basically unknown today but in the early 20th c. she was a fixture of NYC "Greenwich Village Bohemia". An interesting curiousity for anyone interested in feminist ideas presented in fiction rather than theory and essay form.Product details
